No. Purepop flasks are 100% lead-free. We use high-quality, food-grade 304 stainless steel and lead-free sealing processes to ensure your hydration is safe and toxin-free.

To keep your flask looking its best and performing at its peak, we recommend hand-washing only. While some bottle brands allow lids in the dishwasher, the high heat of a dishwasher cycle can damage the vacuum seal and the soft-touch exterior of our 750ml flasks. For best results, use warm soapy water.

No. Since Purepop flasks are made of stainless steel, they are not microwave safe. Putting metal in a microwave can cause sparking (arcing) and permanent damage to both the flask and your appliance.

How do I clean my Purepop flask?
To keep your flask in top condition, hand-wash only. Use warm, soapy water and a bottle brush for the interior. Let all parts air-dry completely before storing to keep them fresh.
For a deep clean, mix a tablespoon of bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) with warm water and let it soak overnight. Scrub gently with a bottle brush the next morning, and it’ll be as good as new. Alternatively use boiling water with a splash of vinegar and let is soak overnight.

Don’t worry, it’s not rust! It’s just mineral buildup. You can easily remove these deposits by scrubbing with a bicarbonate of soda and water mixture. Your 304 stainless steel interior is built to stay corrosion-free.
